When the Vietnam War ended, the Boeing Helicopter Division downsized 10,000 of its employees, including a man named Joe Oliver. Even though Joe had a Master’s degree in Engineering from Yale University, he struggled to support his wife, Beverly, and six sons. When he shared his situation with his prayer group, one of the members suggested that Joe open up an HVAC company and although Joe didn’t know much about the HVAC industry, he liked the idea.
